Our annual Cool Creek Independence Day Parade included a beautiful sunny day, a Carmel Fire Department truck, the Heck family and their famous jeep and, most importantly, many kids on decorated bikes. The kids ended up in the Fairbanks Cul-de-sac to eat ice cream, play games and jump on the inflatable obstacle course while adults chatted with neighbors.

 

Congratulations to Tommy Quinn, Mackenzie White, Collin O’Connor and Will O’Connor for winning the decorated bike contest.

 

Thank you to the many families that donated time or “stuff” to help our day run well, including the Baker Family, the Spitznogle Family, the Heck Family, Andrea Regan, Jen Hammond, Kristy Brian-White, Jeff Adair, Diane Dougherty, Jill Everhart, Susie Steel, Holly Wheeler, Karen Kenyon, Dave Allen, Peg Paulson and Dave Paulson. A big thank you goes to the teens that ran the events in the cul-de-sac – consequently making everything more fun for the kids – Kelsey Regan, Christine Dougherty, Beth Dougherty, Allison Everhart, Catherine Elzinga and Lily Conrad.
