Crimewatch Update - Battery of 12 year old concluded

On Friday, November 18, 2011 at approximately 4:00 pm Carmel Police Officers responded to a battery call in the area of 4200 East 126th Street. A 12 year old girl stated that she was walking her dog when an unknown male subject approached her. According to the girl’s statement, the subject grabbed her and tried to choke her. She stated that she fought him off by scratching him then ran away and called the police.
Police searched the area with a K9 and spoke with several people. After a complete investigation the CPD decided to close the investigation.
